KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children, adolescents, and families
• Provide evidence-based individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Diagnose mental health conditions using DSM-5 criteria
• Collaborate with parents/caregivers, schools, and other providers as needed for coordinated care
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches accordingly
• Manage crisis situations and safety planning when necessary
• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Participate in case consultations, supervision, and ongoing professional development
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
• Active license or associate license to practice psychotherapy in North Carolina (e.g., LCSW/LCSWA, LMFT/LMFTA, LCMHC/LCMHCA, LP/PA)
• Demonstrated interest or experience working with children, adolescents, and families
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g., CBT, play therapy, family systems approaches)
• Excellent clinical documentation and time-management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities
• Experience with telehealth platforms
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
• Associate-Licensed Clinicians: 50/50 fee split
• Fully Licensed Clinicians: 60/40 fee split

Waite Psychological & Therapeutic Services is a growing psychological and therapeutic practice in Durham, NC, seeking an organized, personable, part-time Office/Executive Assistant for a hybrid position paying $20/hour. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in a behavioral health practice, with room to grow into an office management role as the practice expands.
